As you probably know, many bloggers online may make $ (money) from their blogs. (I am sure you’ve seen the disclaimer above everywhere). One way of doing that is through Affiliate Marketing, often through website links. Basically, if you click on a link on the site (usually to a product or service), it is tracked through cookies (not the yummy ones, unfortunately). If you complete the action (usually buying or signing up for something), then the blogger may get paid by the company.

Surprise – I am one of those bloggers. 🤠

What kind of links do I share?

I share products that I actually use and love (and trust), or products from companies that I have experience with, and that I use and love. Even if I have a good experience, but see a lot of other people not having great experiences, I typically won’t share it.

For that reason, I don’t have a lot of links. I don’t like being bombarded with them, and I don’t want to do that to my readers either. I want you to enjoy the actual content I spend time creating for you.

I share links on my website (www.agirlandaspoon.com) and on my various social media accounts.

What do I do with all that money?!

To start, it ain’t a lot. It’s usually a tiny, tiny commission. However, as it adds up, it goes back into the website (it costs me just to have a website) and the continuation of the content, such as ingredients, new tools to test and share, etc.

So, thank you for supporting this content if you buy through any links I have on my site. And thank you even if you don’t! Your continued reading and interest in what I do keeps me going.
